"all 4 hue" is the most comprehensive and best-rated app for Philips Hue. In addition to direct control of lights and rooms, this app is ideal for comprehensive automation of up to five Hue Bridges via timers, alarms and rules in combination with all available Philips Hue devices such as switches and sensors. In addition, this app is also available for Wear OS smartwatches for the convenient control of lights, rooms and scenes.

The app is available as a free version without ads but with some limitations. The free version can be used for unlimited time and can be used, among other things, to check whether the desired features are included. If you are satisfied, further functions in the app can be activated via one-time in-app purchases (no subscriptions!). This app is available in German and English. The app is continually being improved; since May 2015, more than 250 updates with new functions have been released at no additional charge.

Requirements:
- This app requires a Philips Hue Bridge V1 (round) or V2 (square).
- This app supports Philips Hue Tap, Dimmer, Smart Button, Tap Dial, motion, temperature and brightness sensors.
- This app supports the official Friends of Hue switches.
- This app requires some permissions to respond to incoming SMS and calls (device events). Details about permissions can be found in the FAQ section in the app.

Limitations:
- This app can only be used within the local network, as Philips does not allow third-party apps to access the Hue Bridge from outside the local network without contractual regulations. The development team for this app is currently in contact with Philips to clarify the contract details so that remote access can perhaps be made available in the future.
