More About Wireless Walkie Talkie
Walkie Talkie turns nearby phones into two-way radios. It links them directly over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so you can talk with no mobile data, no Wi-Fi network, and no signal at all.
Open the app, and the phones around you appear. Tap one and talk. There is nothing to sign up for.
WHAT YOU GET
1. One-to-one calls with any phone in range.
2. Group mode for up to five phones, connected automatically. No host, no room code.
3. Live voice, not recorded clips.
4. A mute button, so you decide when your mic is open.
5. A name and a face created on your phone, so nobody has to type anything.
NO INTERNET, BY DESIGN
The app does not ask for internet permission at all. Your voice goes straight to the phone you are talking to. No accounts, no servers, no ads, no tracking, and nothing is recorded or saved.
GOOD FOR
Building sites, warehouses, farms, and events. Treks, camping, and long drives with no coverage. Big houses, markets, and crowds. Anywhere a normal call drops but a direct link holds.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL
1. Every phone needs this app installed and open.
2. Range comes from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so it covers a room, a house, or a small site, not a whole town.
3. A call runs while the app is open. Leaving the app or locking the screen ends the call.
4. Requires Android 12L or newer.
