About Vans
Vans was founded by brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren in 1966 in Anaheim, California. Their unique business model led to a cult following among shoe fanatics that persists to this day. As skateboarding gained widespread popularity in the 1970s, skaters throughout California could be seen wearing Vans shoes while they surfed the streets and performed tricks. Vans shoes are still closely associated with skateboarding, but the company has expanded its offerings in recent years to include casual apparel, surfing gear, snow gear, and more. Vans even gives you the power to design custom shoes and clothing, meaning that this company will have something in stock that fits your style.
Vans Return and Exchange Policy Unworn and unwashed merchandise can be returned by mail within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund. After the return is processed, your refund will be granted within 30 days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable; however, a prepaid return label is included with every in-stock order (please contact the company for a replacement label). Items can also be returned to a Vans store for a full refund. While it is not possible to return items purchased from Vans.com by mail for an exchange, you can bring them to a Vans store and exchange them for items of equal value.
