More About The Grid Dispatcher Lite
"The Grid" is a Resistance web app used to share your Ingress Prime statistics and compare yourself with other agents in your city or country. Since Niantic has not developed a public API, all statistics must be updated manually.
This is done by sharing your statistics from the Ingress Prime scanner to this app.
What this app does:
- Receives profile data shared from Ingress Prime by you and uploads it to The Grid
- Lets you add a field report to your stats
- Lets you apply for The Grid specific achievements as part the upload
- Lets you decide if the update should be visible to other agents or hidden
- Allows sending an emulated update that won't be recorded on The Grid, but still lets you see progress on stats and achievements through notifications from The Grid
What this app requires:
- A compatible phone
- The Ingress Prime app and an account
- An API token from The Grid to allow for uploads
What this app doesn't do:
- The app only shares your data uploads to The Grid
- The app doesn't share your uploaded data to third parties
What this app might do in the future:
- Upload photos as part of the field report
- Log in with a The Grid account instead of copy/pasting the API token.
- Send notifications when it's time to update, an update has been processed and other notifications from The Grid
