Quarter Turn: Stealth Puzzle

Quarter Turn is a turn-based stealth puzzle for jewel thieves who like to plan. Turrets watch along fixed lines, and after every move you make, every turret turns a quarter turn. Reach the vault without ending a move in a line. That is the whole rule. The puzzle is in seeing where the lines will be, not where they are. No timer, no rush: think it through, then step.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Tap a cell to step, or tap your own square to wait a turn. Both count as a move, and both turn the turrets.
• Hold a turret to see the line it watches right now.
• Get caught and the line that saw you flashes; the board resets and the cell is marked. Learn the pattern, try again.
• A hint shows the cells that will be watched after your next move. Three hints are free and refill over half an hour.

THE PIECES
• Single turrets watch one straight line. Dual turrets watch two diagonals. Quad turrets cover the four straight lines one move and the four diagonals the next.
• Lamps light the eight cells around them. Blinking lamps are on one move and off the next.
• Crates in your tray block a line for good. Place one where a beam would cross your path.
• Mirrors bend the beams, and the mirror puzzles grow clever: later ones reflect on both faces, catch the diagonals, or turn 45 degrees a move.
• A wandering spotlight closes one cell a turn. It never catches you, it only gets in the way.

THE CLIMB
• 155 levels of stealth and logic puzzles in eight bands, each band harder than the last, with boss boards along the way.
• Every board is generated to be fair: every piece matters to the route.
• The game notices how you get caught and leans on the skill you are weakest at.
• The Levels screen shows your climb at a glance, with a medal for every boss you beat.

THE DAILY CHALLENGE
• Five new boards every day, one from each of the hardest bands, the same for every player.
• Three chances on each board and no hints. Clear all five for a perfect day and keep your streak going.
• Out of chances? Watch an ad for three more, or go unlimited.

FREE TO PLAY
• Short adverts between levels every few puzzles. Remove ads is a one-off purchase that stops them for good.
• The Unlimited challenge subscription gives unlimited daily chances and no adverts while it runs. It renews yearly and is cancelled in Google Play.
• Need more hints? Watch an ad for one, or buy a pack of 5 or 15. Bought hints never expire.

A SMALL, QUIET GAME
• A single player stealth puzzle game. The climb and the daily boards play offline; adverts and purchases need a connection.
• No account. Progress stays on your phone.
• Three looks (Playful, Neon and Art Deco), light or dark, or follow your phone's setting. Sound effects and an arcade backing track, each with a volume slider.
• If a level feels wrong, tap Feedback on the Levels screen; the mail carries the version.
