Transform your Android device into a pro-grade pedalboard: low-latency guitar effects, native performance, and studio-quality recording — all offline, open source, and ad-free.
Includes Neural Amp Modeler and Impulse Response (Ratatouille) Plugins!

What opiqo does
- Real-time, low-latency audio I/O using Google Oboe for responsive playing and jamming.
- Native C++ floating‑point audio processing for transparent, high‑quality tone.
- Four independent pedal slots — load up to four LV2 plugins in series with per-pedal bypass.
- Ships with 200+ curated LV2 guitar effects covering distortion, fuzz, modulation, filters, and amp simulators.
- Record processed output in studio-grade formats: floating-point WAV, 32‑bit FLAC, max‑bitrate MP3, Opus, OGG.
- Fully offline, no tracking, no data collection, no ads. Open source (MIT).

Main effects — what they sound like and how to use them
- Distortion & Overdrive — add grit, sustain, and harmonic richness. Use light overdrive for bluesy breakup or heavy distortion for aggressive lead tones.
- Examples in the bundled library: GxPlexi, GxSD1, GxSD2Lead, GxCreamMachine.
- Typical use: place early in the chain (before amp sims) for classic drive tones; experiment with master volume and gain staging for saturation vs. fuzzed breakup.

- Fuzz — thick, compressed, harmonically complex clipping that pairs great with single-coil or humbucker pickups for vintage fuzz textures.
- Examples: FatFrog, GxFz1b, GxVintageFuzzMaster, GxVoodoFuzz.
- Typical use: slot fuzz before or after modulation depending on desired character (pre-modulation for more defined mod effects, post-modulation for swirly fuzz).

- Modulation & Filter — chorus, tremolo, auto‑wah and other time/texture effects that add movement and color.
- Examples: GxQuack (auto‑wah / quack filter), LittleFly, GxSlowGear, GxSuperFuzz (special textures).
- Typical use: place after drive for ambient shimmer, or before amp sims to shape the input tone.

- Amp Simulators & Cabinets — emulate classic tube amps and speaker cabinets for authentic amp-driven tone.
- Examples: GxBlueAmp, VintageAC30, GxValveCaster, GxUltraCab, Ratatouille.
- Typical use: place amp sims later in the chain as the “engine” of your tone; combine with drive pedals before the amp and modulation/reverb after.

- Special & Utility Effects — boosts, preamps, and creative tools to sculpt tone or drive pedals and amp sims harder.
- Examples: GxMicroAmp (clean boost), GxTimRay, ModularAmpToolKit.
- Typical use: use boosts for solos or to push amp sims into natural saturation.

Recording & sharing
- Capture the full processed signal (post-FX) directly to device storage.
- Lossless options: floating-point WAV and 32‑bit FLAC for studio-quality archiving.
- Compressed options: MP3 (maximum bitrate), Opus, OGG for sharing and quick demos.
