CHITTY: You can also calculate the maximum auction amount (bid amount) to take the chitty in profit. Whether your chitty substitution is in profit or loss. The amount of EMI is calculated by rounding off the value to the nearest Rupee. So there may be a slight variation.

The chitty amount is calculated by assuming that the minimum auction amount is 5%( ie for foreman commission), GST on foreman commission is 18% and documentation charges as 200/100. Documentation charges and foreman commission may vary in different chitty companies/NBFCs.

The maximum bid amount is fixed at 30% of chitty sala in single-division chitties, 35% in multi-division chitties where the duration is up to 100 months and 40% for multi-division chitties where the duration is above 100 months. (in this calculation. this may vary from company to company)

Assumed that the total dividend acquired in the entire duration of chitty is equal to the total interest which can be earned if the chitty instalment amount is deposited in RD
You have to enter payment details and DA at the time of retirement for calculations

The above quantities are applicable for residential buildings for plinth areas ranging from 300 to 3000 sqft.
Builders hardware and rainwater goods are not considered in this calculation as the same is in required basis
Quantity of paint and number of painters has not been considered in this calculator.
External and internal services like water supply, plumbing, electric supply and drains, sewage are not considered in this calculator.

RCC slab in cement concrete 1:2:4 wall plaster in CM 1:5 The quantities given are approximate and may differ based on type of structure. This is a simple calculator to calculate approximate quantity and labour required for construction. Cost of electrical fittings/plumbing and sanitary fittings and its labour to be added separately for final calculation.
All rooms are considered with attached toilet for calculation of wall tiles in bathroom.
Number of carpenters calculated is including carpenters required for planing of timber. No of carpenter can be reduced by planing of timber by machinery.
