Welcome to lumin&us®, an award-winning, innovative neuroscience and relational play based App for parents and carers of children 3–12 years old. lumin&us® was created with families by play therapists, mental health professionals, social workers and educators. lumin&us® is a proud winner of a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) ‘Women in Innovation’ Award 2025. lumin&us® is highly-rated by the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA) and is approved for use in the NHS. ABOUT THE APP:
Rooted in play therapy and the science of the nervous system, lumin&us® has been created by social workers, play therapists and educators to support family life.

It improves wellbeing and relationships by helping adults and children understand and identify the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviours, building and improving relationships and experiencing joy and laughter together.

FEATURES:
• in-App features helps adults and children identify and understand their current emotional state based on feelings, thoughts and behaviours
• therapeutic, play based games and activities tailored to the unique needs of each child to regulate big emotions, reduce conflict, improve closeness and help children to feel safe and secure thereby reducing difficult behaviours
