More About Grim Omens - Old School RPG
Set in a realm of eternal night, Grim Omens is a story-driven RPG that puts you in the shoes of a fledgling vampire, a creature of blood and darkness struggling to maintain the grip on their fading humanity in a mysterious and lore-rich dark fantasy world.
The game combines classic dungeon crawling elements, familiar turn-based combat mechanics, and various tabletop and board game influences to create an immersive but accessible old-school RPG experience. The way it is structured, it can be similar to solo a DnD campaing or even a Choose Your Own Adventure book.
The 3rd entry in the Grim series, Grim Omens, is a standalone sequel to Grim Quest. It refines the established formula of Grim Quest and Grim Tides, all the while offering an intricate story and detailed lore that ties in with previous games in strange and unexpected ways. Even so, you can play it with not experience in previous Grim games, without fear of missing out on the story details.
Inspired by old school dungeon crawling RPGs, as well as ttRPG classics such as Vampire (The Masquerade, The Dark Ages, Bloodlines) and Dungeons and Dragons' Ravenloft (Curse of Strahd).
