Derby Duel is a live 1v1 football quiz. Not a guessing game: a real opponent is sitting on the other side, the questions arrive for both of you at the same moment, and the winner climbs a leaderboard that never resets. HOW A MATCH WORKS
Tap play. Matchmaking pairs you with another player in seconds. The same clock, the same questions, both players at once - you watch your rival's score move on your own screen. When nobody is queueing, a bot at your own rating steps in, so you never wait for a match. Bot matches run through that same live server session: same rules, same points, same clock.

A DIFFERENT GAME EVERY MATCH
There are fifteen boards and the match itself decides which one opens; both players play the same one: Common Ground, Hidden Star, Over Under, Pair Hunt, Career Twin, XOX, Hit The Target, How Many, Bingo, Shared Badge, Snap, Blurred, True or False, Odd One Out, Whack-a-Star. Some boards want reflexes, some want squad knowledge, some want a cool head. You can choose which ones show up.

A CAREER, NOT A HIGH SCORE
Your ELO is never reset - it is the measure of your career. Three leaderboards at once: the world, your country and today. A tournament is always open and the next bracket starts in minutes, so this is a ladder to climb, not a one-off quiz. Add a friend with their six-digit code, call them to a friendly and ask for a rematch. While you play, others can watch from the stands.

PLAY FIRST, SIGN UP LATER
You can start playing straight away as a guest. No form, no questions. To keep your career on any device, saving your account asks for a username and a password. An e-mail address is optional and only matters if you forget it. Sign in with Google is there too. We never ask for a phone number.

FAIR PLAY
Gems are the in-game currency and are sold as in-app purchases. They buy cosmetics, coin and tournament tickets. All three can also be earned by playing. They never buy rank, ELO, matchmaking, difficulty or answers - a paying player does not get easier questions.

ADS ARE OPTIONAL
Nothing interrupts you. No banners, no interstitials, nothing plays on its own. An ad opens only when you tap "watch" for an in-game reward. Ads are non-personalised.

IMAGES ARE OFF BY DEFAULT
Player, club and league pictures do not load until you turn them on in Community. Until then the game draws its own avatars and name plates. The choice is yours: a light install or real photographs.

WHAT TO KNOW
Derby Duel is played online - every match is a live server session, so it needs a connection. A match takes a minute or two, which makes it a good queue-time game.
