More About Carnatic Tala Metronome

Carnatic Tala Metronome has a comprehensive library of Talas including Suladi sapta variants, Chapu talas, Ancient 108 talas, Melakarta talas, Mukhi talas. The metronome can be played in various tempo and 4 sounds : Hand claps, Manjeera, Electronic beeps or Mridangam pattern sounds.

It has a custom tala builder, where you can create a new tala by adding angas of tala (Laghu, Dhrutam, Anudhrutam, Dhruta viramam, Guru, Pluta and Kakapada) and editing each beat to have a different internal gait (nadai) or different Duration (stretch/Kalai). For example, you can create a Tala with each beat of a tala in different duration (tisra, chatusra, khanda, misra, or sankeerna) and play it in the metronome for your practice!
