Don't lose your animal. BloodHound finds the blood trail your eyes miss and gives you the tools to finish the recovery. Point your camera and see blood the naked eye misses — through leaves, dirt, and failing light, when it matters most.

• Adjustable sensitivity slider to match any lighting condition
• Remember your sensitivity setting between sessions, if you want it that way
• Flashlight support for low-light and nighttime tracking
• Side-by-side capture — original and highlighted, saved as one image
• Vibration feedback the moment blood enters frame
🗺️ TRAIL MODE — ONE-TIME UNLOCK
For serious recoveries. A single purchase, no subscription, yours forever.
• Live GPS map showing your exact path as you track
• Distance and time tracked in real time
• Full trail history — every recovery saved and viewable
• Export any trail to OnX, Google Earth, or any KML-compatible app
📍 SIX PINS, ONE RECOVERY
Mark the whole story, from the shot to the find:
• Shot Location — where you took it from, stand or on foot
• Stand/Blind — your stand, so you can find it again in the dark
• Blood — every drop of sign you turn up. Your first one marks roughly where
the animal was standing, and that can be hundreds of yards from where you shot
• Photo — snap a picture, pinned exactly where you stood
• Vehicle — so you can find the truck again for the drag out
• Recovery Point — where you found it
Drop them as you go and the map shows the real geometry of the track: how far the animal was, which way it broke, how far it ran. Every pin rides along in
the KML export, so the whole recovery opens up in Google Earth or OnX exactly as it happened.
🔬 THE SCIENCE
BloodHound doesn't just look for "red." Each camera frame is converted from
RGB into CIE L*a*b* color space, and detection runs on the a* channel — the
green-to-red axis. That separates blood from wet leaves, rust, and brown dirt
far more cleanly than an RGB filter can, and it holds up as light fades because a* is independent of brightness. Sensitivity sets your threshold on that axis; sustained detection triggers the vibration alert.
