Through an interactive quiz and guided routes across Jerusalem’s most iconic neighborhoods, you will discover how the occupation impacts the daily lives of the Palestinian people, while also connecting with their history, roots, and rich cultural heritage.
Available in several languages, it combines gamification, mapping, and educational resources to promote in-depth knowledge about Palestine and foster a critical and engaged citizenship committed to defending human rights. This educational tool is designed to be used both individually and collectively in learning spaces or alternative tourism communities. It offers an innovative way to learn about human rights and activism in Palestine—whether you want to travel or simply learn while playing.
AppQuds is divided into several sections:
• Interactive Quiz: Test your knowledge with one of the most complete quizzes about Palestine. You will learn about history, politics, geography, and aspects of Palestinian daily life. You can also compete and challenge others to measure what you know.
• Breaking the Wall: Take part in the Breaking the Wall contest and show everything you’ve learned. Editions of the contest will be launched periodically, giving you the chance to demonstrate your knowledge and win different prizes. In addition, your participation is a form of activism, as you help spread the history and cultural richness of Palestine. Don’t forget to enable notifications so you won’t miss any edition!
• Tourist Guide: Explore the streets of Jerusalem by visiting its main points of interest through routes and photographs that will teach you about its history, culture, and the impact of the occupation. The routes are designed to give you a critical perspective on the situation in Palestine.
